David McVey has published 90 short stories and a hundreds of articles on a variety of subjects in magazines and newspapers. He regularly speaks at writers’ groups and conferences and is a member of the National Association of Writers in Education, the Society of Authors and the Outdoor Writers and Photographers Guild.

Nick Page is an established author with over sixty books to his name. He has over ten years' experience as a full-time, professional author, and before that worked as Head of Communications at the Oasis Trust. Along with books for both adults and children, he writes for a wide range of campaigning organisations and businesses.

Ali Hull has been commissioning and editing books for Authentic media since 1999, and works with both new and established authors. She has also co-authored a book on bereavement, and written articles, interviews and press releases that have been published across the Christian press and in some secular media as well.

Joe Story is a freelance writer and chef who has had a number of articles published in the Christian press. He writes a monthly comment column for Christian Marketplace magazine and edits the Churches Together Northampton news-sheet. With fifteen years experience as a bookseller, his reviews and reader's reports are noted for their insightful criticism. He is working on several books.

Mark Finnie is Authentic's Publishing Director, and has worked in the Christian publishing industry for longer than he cares to remember. Authentic are the publishing arm of IBS-STL, who own the Wesley Owen bookshops. Authentic publishes a huge range of books each year, including titles for children and young people, and on their list is Adrian Plass, Jeff Lucas, G P Taylor, J John, Mark Stibbe, Michele Guinness and Vaughan Roberts.
