Catherine Fox is the author of three novels published by Penguin, as well as a series of humorous books arising out of her weekly column for the Church of England Newspaper. Her latest book Fight the Good Fight is published by Yellow Jersey, and charts her attempt to get a judo black belt. She lives in Lichfield with her husband who is a canon at the cathedral, and their two sons.

Jan Greenough is a professional writer and editor with thirty years’ experience in Christian publishing, and has an extensive list of successful ghost-writing projects, mostly for Kingsway and Monarch. Her work includes The Tears of My Soul, Faith Like Potatoes and Somebody’s Child. She also writes promotional material for science and engineering companies.

Dave Hopwood is the Creative Arts Director at the Lee Abbey Conference Centre and has penned a fistful of drama books and three books about men and faith entitled The Bloke’s Bible, The Road Trip and his latest Sons of Thunder, a contemporary retelling of the gospel story. In a long and chequered career in the church he has organised street theatre, seeker services, evangelistic events and schools outreach.

Ali Hull is a writer and editor whose work has been published everywhere form the Times to the Irish Times, via the Christian press. Her first book, Tracing the Rainbow, co-written with Pablo Martinez, came out in 2004. An experienced editor, she is a mine of practical, helpful advice on sharpening your writing and making it shine.

At times on the course will be Mark Finnie, Authentic's Publishing director. With over twenty years experience in the Christian publishing industry, Mark is an expert on successful — and unsuccessful — book submissions!
